What are telephone messages on hold?

Simply put,  a combination of advertising and customer service messages mixed with music that your
callers hear while they wait “on hold” after calling your place of business.  It’s like your company having
its own radio station on hold —where you select the music, and most importantly, you control the
content  of the advertising.

Why should I even consider using telephone messages on hold?

It’s one of the most cost-effective ways to communicate to your customers.   Just think how often you put
callers on hold.   There are times when you may have several callers on hold at the same time.  With
telephone messages on hold, you don’t pay for the “air time” or the “ad space” and your cost is not based
on “number of impressions” or the “frequency” of the spot rotation.   No matter how many incoming
telephone lines you have, or how many calls  you receive,  or how long each caller waits on hold, you pay
only for the services we provide, while using the program 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We’re a small business.  Can I afford your program?

Whether you have a small business with a couple of  incoming lines, or you’re a large company with a
sophisticated telephone phone system, the cost of a telephone messages on hold program can pay for
itself almost immediately.   Studies show that callers hearing messages on hold stay on hold longer,
prefer to hear messages over silence or a radio station, and have their buying decisions affected by what
they hear on hold.  You owe it to yourself and to your customers to find out how inexpensive and
cost-effective telephone messages on hold are to implement in your business.

Aren’t music licensing fees costly and paid annually?

Both are true if you are playing a radio station or a commercial-CD on hold.  However, the music that we
use on our telephone messages on hold recordings comes with a lifetime license for the customer
(end user) — even if you don’t change the recording year after year.  The payment you make to us  is for
recording services (which include the music license), scriptwriting, voice announcer, and the equipment
you need to play the recordings on your telephone system.  We offer both purchase plans starting
with one recording and annual agreements with multiple recordings.

Do I need a phone system with the “music on hold” capability?

No.  If you have telephones that handle  2, 3 or 4-lines without a telephone system (just lines coming
from wall jacks) you may still be able to use telephone messages on hold.  There are adaptors that work
with these type of telephones to give you the “music on hold” capability.  Just tell us what kind of
telephones you have, and we’ll let you know if they are compatible with the music on hold adaptors.
